And the blog is up! As the header says at the top, here is where you'll find information and opinion (mine and others) about movies and all things cinema. First order of business: you'll notice that scattered about are all things cinema, most notably samples of DVD artwork and posters from movies. The thing I find interesting about DVD artwork is that it is completely aesthetic. Whereas poster artwork is on the frontlines of marketing a film (to tell the audience what to -- hopefully -- expect and why they're putting down good money for nothing more than the experience of seeing light projected on a screen), DVD artwork is never seen until after the purchase. However, it is as much a statement about the film as anything else...
